2009 South African Experience
Party departs LA or Las Vegas on Virgin Atlantic to London: Two days/two nights in London. Activities in London: Golfers play either Sunningdale or Wentworth, while non-golfers enjoy shopping at Harrods and sight seeing. Evening shows and meals.
September 27th
Evening Virgin Atlantic departure from London to Johannesburg. Party arrives the following morning, September 28th, after an overnight flight of approximately nine hours. Party clears customs and connects on South African Airlink directly into either
Singita or
Mala Mala private game reserves. Flight time approximately one hour. Two days and two nights spent in the private reserve of choice.
September 30th
Afternoon ground transfer from
Mala Mala or
Singita to
Leopard Creek with Louise Deluca on September 30th. The drive is approximately two hours in duration through the Kruger National Park which has a 25 miles per hour speed limit. Game viewing and refreshments available. Two days and two nights at the Player family’s private six bedroom home. Leopard Creek activities include golf, game drives and walks, recreational areas, beautiful pool, slides, health club, tennis and game viewing decks. Three meals per day catered by Louise Deluca. Daily trip into Mozambique
hosted by Louise Deluca as an option.
October 2nd
Party transfers from Mapumalanga International to
The Gary Player Stud Farm in Colesberg on via King Air or Private Jet Charter. Travel time approximately two hours. Two days and two nights at the farm hosted by The Black Knight himself, Gary Player. Party stays in the incredible new Player family farm house. Gary Player Stud Farm activities include early morning mountain climbs with Gary Player, excellent meals, horseback riding amongst the game on the farm, skeet shooting, golf on the newly designed Gary Player course that requires no irrigation and Orange River/ Boma cook outs.
October 5th
Party travels to
Fancourt which is a short one hour drive. Fancourt Resort five star accommodation. Fancourt has 72 holes of golf, one being the links golf course designed by Gary Player which was the venue of the 2003 Presidents Cup. Fancourt activities include a state of the art spa, excellent health club, indoor pool and an outstanding selection of restaurants. Local beaches and sight seeing available.
October 6th
Party flies to Cape Town for five days. Cape Town and Stellenbosch activities include fine wine tasting at many of the outstanding Wine Estates that make up the Cape Wine Route, Whale watching in Hermanus, diving with the Great White Sharks in Ganse Baai,
and visting Robin Island if interested. Waterfront shopping, excellent cuisine and fantastic golf courses abound. Party stays in
The Twelve Apostles Hotel in Camps Bay for the final two days to celebrate. Party returns on Virgin Atlantic from Cape Town to London on October 11th and on to LA or Las Vegas.

A 50% deposit is due upon reservation, and the balance is due on September 15, 2009.
Should your party need to cancel prior to departure, there will be a 25% cancellation fee. However, should that situation arise, Wayne would be happy to apply the cancellation fee as a credit towards a 2010 Experience.
Please note that this itinerary serves only as a general guideline. Should the group decide to make adjustments either before or during the Experience, we are happy to make accommodations!
